03/07/10 . . . Annual Meeting and Picnic Dates Set
Not much going on at the Point at the moment other than trying to manage the tons of snow dropped by the recent storms. Considering the unusual accumulation amounts this year, the roads are in exceptionally passable condition. Really, the best you can expect. All things considered.
The Annual Meeting for this year has been set for July 3, 2010, 9 AM, at Erhardt’s Restaurant . . . the same place we met last year. Mark this date on your calendars as we will have to have elections for all of the Association Officers whose terms are up this year. Likewise, some Director positions will also have to be filled.
The date for this year’s Annual Picnic has been set for July 24, 2010. The Picnic Committee is planning another day full of fun and activities. If you recall, Picnic Committee ladies, with donations from various Spinnler members, assembled a number of beautiful gift baskets, displayed on a table with a related ticket bag in front of each . . . similar to what is seen at silent auctions. Picnic attendees could purchase any number of raffle tickets and place as many tickets as they wished in the bags for whatever gift baskets they preferred. This popular event will be held again this year so we are asking for donations to be placed in the gift baskets.
