REPLACEMENT FOR CLUSTER MAILBOX KEYS
Judy Schmid was kind enough to look into the procedure to follow if you happen to lose the keys to your cluster mailbox.
The first step is to make sure you know the number on the outside of your cluster mailbox as well as your new “911” mailing address here at Spinnler Point.
Then, go to the Tafton Post Office, in person, to request the replacement keys and be prepared to present some form of photo identification. If you have any utility bills containing your 911 mailing address, it might be helpful to bring a sample along.
The Post Office will then schedule to have the lock on your mailbox changed to accommodate the new keys. The cost for this service is $15.00.
