Happy New Year everyone!..... I just wanted to take a few minutes to let you know that OUTSIDE interest in our website and community probably exceeds the interest from Spinnler residents and property owners. There’s no way to tell for sure but I base that assumption on the number of requests I get from folks within and outside Pennsylvania asking to be added to our Mailing List. We had not anticipated this interest before and were not real clear on the Contact Us page that the “Mailing List” is for email only and is restricted to Spinnler Point property owners. As a result, I had to reply to the requesters advising them of that fact but thanking them for their interest. I have since added that clarification to the Contact Us page but that’s no guarantee we still won’t get similar requests. At least it is an indication that our website is a popular one.
I have received a number of requests for access to our Members Only page which indicates there is some internal interest in the information contained on our site. I would like to see our website used more broadly by our members but I can’t be the sole source of this information.
I need your help.
If you are a local resident or are aware of local events that would be of interest to our members, let me know so I can post the events on the website. If you have some interesting photographs you would like to share with our members, send them to me and I can start posting them in our photo album. If you are aware of something that would be of general interest to our members, send it to me and I will post it wherever it would be appropriate.
Our website could be the focal point, throughout the year or season, in keeping us all in touch with the “Point” during the summer...... fall........or doldrums of the winter. There’s a lot going on but I need your help in sharing the information. This could be fun!
