Did you know that you can take a Boating and the required Personal Water Craft (PWC or jet ski) safety course online? You will not only learn about boating and/or PWC safety but you may also be eligible for a discount on your boat or PWC insurance with most insurance providers. These online courses earn you a certificate and are approved by the Pennsylvania Fish & Game Commission and by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators, and are recognized by the U.S. Coast Guard. This Nautical Know How Basic Boating Safety Certification Course, available at http://www.boatsafe.com, is made available to educate and provide information to anyone interested in boating and boating safety. The objectives of the course are to make the general public aware of the following:
- State and Federal laws and regulations as they pertain to boating and vessel
 operation.
- Aspects of boating that not only help you become a safer boater, but also make boating a more enjoyable activity.
- Issues in boating which could potentially be dangerous to the marine environment.
- Making boaters aware of their responsibility to themselves, their guests and other boaters.
